Children aged 4 Upwards are warmly welcomed into Mighty Marvels.
They are carefully introduced to Taekwondo and nurtured through the process of martial arts. Our Mighty Marvels program is a curriculum to help your child develop motor skills, listening skills and a foundation for success in life.
The Mighty Marvels program helps children develop in the areas parents appreciate most: increased attention span, enhanced coordination, and better respect and discipline. They also learn about the importance of Modesty, Etiquette, Perseverance, Self-Control and the philosophy of non-conflict self-defence. The training they receive will carry over into their everyday lives.
The unique program is designed so that it is fun and consistent with the child’s developmental level. The children have great fun and are excited and look forward to their next class.
Mighty Marvels Classes
Thursday 4:30pm - 5:00pm - Parkstone, Poole
Friday 4:30pm - 5:00pm - Wessex Elite Training and Rehab Centre, Poole
Saturday 10:00am - 10:30am - Parkstone, Poole (Starting Mid May 2021)

Class Curriculum
Classes will be based on the Marvel Super Heroes with exercises mimicking your children's favourite Marvel Super Hero. All Classes will be getting your child ready to move through to our main stream Taekwondo Classes with the Grading system giving them a leg up on the Taekwondo Grading Ladder, with all students completing there Mighty Marvel journey will be a 8th Kup (Yellow Belt) in World Taekwondo.

Grading
Like many martial arts, Taekwondo uses a coloured belt grading system and this does not alter in our Mighty Marvels Program. The grading for theMighty Marvels consists of testing the student,s knowledge and grasp of the themes that they have been taught through the current quarter. It is designed to make the child feel great achievement, and parents will be amazed at just what their Children can achieve!
New students begin at white belt and advance through to their World Taekwondo Yellow Belt.
When the child has taken part in the curriculum they are entered for their next belt, where they follow basic instructions. It's fun and gives the children the foundation to further their Journey to World Taekwondo Black Belt.
