Children aged 4-6 are warmly welcomed into Little Leaders.
They are carefully introduced to Taekwondo and nurtured through the process of martial arts. Our Little Leader program is a curriculum to help your child develop motor skills, listening skills and a foundation for success in life.
The Little Leaders program helps children develop in the areas parents appreciate most: increased attention span, enhanced coordination, and better respect and discipline. They also learn about the importance of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and the philosophy of non-conflict self-defence. The training they receive will carry over into their everyday lives.
The unique program is designed so that it is fun and consistent with the child’s developmental level. The children have great fun and are excited and look forward to their next class.

My son Will has been training at Wessex Taekwondo for almost four years, in that time he has grown in confidence and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge. He loves going to class each week and never likes to miss a class. Clifton
Like many martial arts, Taekwondo uses a coloured belt grading system and this does not alter in our Little Leaders Program. The grading for the Little Leaders consists of testing the student,s knowledge and grasp of the themes that they have been taught through the current quarter. It is designed to make the child feel great achievement, and parents will be amazed at just what their Children can achieve!
New students begin at white belt and advance through to their Little Leaders Black Belt.
When the child has taken part in the curriculum they are entered for their next belt, where they follow basic instructions... It's fun and gives the children the foundation to...
