Mr John Harrison 4th DAN (Royal Navy Team Coach 1998 - Present ), Wessex Taekwondo Association Chief Instructor. John started Taekwondo in 1989 and has been teaching in Poole since 1995 he has taken many of his students to top competitions both in the UK and in Europe collecting many Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. In his opinion he now teaches probably the most dedicated team of people in the country with players both at National and International Status along with current British Team members. He is both an experienced Coach and Instructor in both the sport and more traditional aspects of Taekwondo.

Wayne Nelson 2nd Dan assistant instructor for WTA Poole and the Royal Navy team. Wayne first started training in 1996 and trains full time with Mr John Harrison.  As a junior Wayne represented the United Kingdom in the Junior World Championships after winning the British Championships. After joining the Royal Navy he then represented them in the combined services Taekwondo championships, which he went on to win respectively. He now trains very hard with John to try and repeat the same success he had as a junior in seniors, also working with John to develop the talented younger WTA team players into National team players.

Lottie Roberts, 3rd Dan, WTA Poole Junior Assistant. Started training with John when she was 6 in 1999. She competed in her first WTF tournament in 2001. She has competed in competitions around the country and international tournaments. She had her first fight in juniors at the BTCB British Championships and came away with the gold making her the Junior National Champion in 2006 and has repeated this in 2007, 2008 and 2009 she has also represented her country at both the Junior European Championships and the Junior World Championships. She also helps her instructor John Harrison teach with the younger classes.

Kayleigh Broom, 2nd Dan, WTA Poole Junior Assistant. She started training with Mr John Harrison back in 1999, at the age of six. Initially she got involved in Taekwondo purely for self defence. However, things have progressed and now Taekwondo has become a big part of her life. Kayleigh has fought in many competitions around the country and in several A class tournaments internationally. Recently, she has moved up to juniors and fights in -55kg. In only her third fight in this category, at the BTCB British Championships, she obtained the bronze medal in 2006 and 2007 and silver in 2008.
