Wayne
Nelson 2nd Dan assistant instructor for WTA Poole and the Royal Navy team. Wayne
first started training in 1996 and trains full time with Mr John Harrison.
Wayne's particular interest in Taekwondo is the sport side of the art. As a
junior in sport Taekwondo he represented the United Kingdom in the Crete Junior
World Championships and the Dutch open after winning the British Championships
and regularly training at Loughborough University. After his success at junior
level he then took a break to concentrate on his career. After joining the Royal
Navy he then represented them in the combined services Taekwondo championships,
which he went on to win respectively. He now trains very hard with John to try
and repeat the same success he had as a junior in seniors, also working very
hard with John to develop the talented younger WTA team players into National
team players.
